Preparing your Business for a Disaster Situation

7:00 pm– 8:00 pm EDT

Businesses and their staff face a variety of hazards:

  1. Natural hazards like floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes.
  2. Health hazards such as widespread and serious illnesses like the flu.
  3. Human-caused hazards include accidents and acts of violence.
  4. Technology-related hazards like power outages and equipment failure.

Small businesses need to be prepared for disasters of any type. Business leaders can prepare their organizations for the most likely hazards. This webinar will help leaders identify and plan for these hazards. In addition, presenters will discuss US Small Business Administration resources to help recover from a disaster and mitigate risk from future disasters.

Presenters: Gregory Lindberg, SBA Office of Field Operations, Jack Camp, SBA Office of Disaster Recovery & Resilience.
