Capital Access and Diversity Incentives

On 08/29/2023Uni­ver­sal Pro­cess­ing in part­ner­ship with US Bank con­duct­ed a webi­nar titled ​“Cap­i­tal Access and Diver­si­ty Incen­tives” which was attend­ed by 7 participants.

The webi­nar com­menced fea­tur­ing a pre­sen­ta­tion by Pafoua Xiong, the Diver­si­ty Sup­pli­er Man­ag­er at USBANK with an intro­duc­tion to the Com­mu­ni­ty Nav­i­ga­tor Pilot Pro­gram (CNPP). The webi­na­r’s pri­ma­ry objec­tive was to elu­ci­date the advan­tages of diverse cer­ti­fi­ca­tions pro­vid­ed by finan­cial insti­tu­tions and oth­er orga­ni­za­tions. These cer­ti­fi­ca­tions can facil­i­tate SBA-friend­ly financ­ing, expand pro­fes­sion­al net­works, and grant access to free edu­ca­tion­al courses.

Pafoua Xiong, an accom­plished expert in the field, deliv­ered a 35-minute pre­sen­ta­tion in Eng­lish. Fol­low­ing Pafoua Xiong’s pre­sen­ta­tion, there was a 10-minute inter­ac­tive Q&A ses­sion, pro­vid­ing atten­dees with the oppor­tu­ni­ty to engage direct­ly with the pre­sen­ter, seek clar­i­fi­ca­tions, and share their experiences.

Explor­ing the realms of pro­cure­ment, non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tions, and exter­nal enti­ties that sup­port small busi­ness­es was an enrich­ing expe­ri­ence for the atten­dees. They gained valu­able insights into US Bank’s cer­ti­fi­ca­tion pro­gram, the myr­i­ad ben­e­fits of var­i­ous cer­ti­fi­ca­tions, and the diverse range of financ­ing prod­ucts tai­lored for minor­i­ty-owned businesses.
