America has gone through a lot in the last 26 months. Covid-19 turned the world upside down. The hardest hit are small businesses. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has been at the forefront of the recovery effort, delivering economic relief to small businesses – from the mom-and-pop restaurants and retail shops to the contractors and small manufacturers. While much progress has been made to get Americans back to work, back to business, and back to normal, the SBA has continued to increase access to government resources, lowering the barriers to opportunity, and expand the reach of the customers it serves – American small businesses – the heart and soul of the economy. Mark Madrid, SBA Associate Administrator, for the Office of Entrepreneurial Development, joins us to talk about the Office of Entrepreneurial Development which is technical assistance arm of the SBA with a large national resource network dedicated to America’s small businesses.
