On 02/27/2023, the Asian Cham­ber of Com­merce Hous­ton and Uni­ver­sal Pro­cess­ing arranged a work­shop for small busi­ness own­ers fac­ing unique chal­lenges when it comes to find­ing finan­cial assis­tance. 19 peo­ple attended!

The event was specif­i­cal­ly designed to help minor­i­ty busi­ness own­ers learn about the var­i­ous forms of finan­cial aid that are avail­able to them. Par­tic­i­pants had the chance to hear from experts in the field, who pro­vid­ed insights into the dif­fer­ent types of loans, grants, and oth­er finan­cial assis­tance pro­grams that may be avail­able to them.

One of the high­lights of the event was the net­work­ing oppor­tu­ni­ty. Atten­dees had the chance to con­nect with oth­er minor­i­ty busi­ness own­ers, share expe­ri­ences, and build rela­tion­ships with oth­ers in the com­mu­ni­ty. Many par­tic­i­pants expressed how valu­able it was to have the chance to con­nect with oth­ers who are fac­ing sim­i­lar chal­lenges and to learn from their expe­ri­ences and successes.
