Federal Communication Commission representative Susan Au Allen meets with Bay Area Chinatown leaders for digital equity
USPAACC National Headquarters, CEO& President Susan Au Allen met with San Francisco and Oakland Chinatown leaders, Vice Chair of the Communications Equity and Diversity Council (CEDC) under the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), CNPP Spokes USPAACC Western Chapter, BeChinatown and Northeast Community Federal Credit Union on Nov 30 and featured on Wind Newspaper.
Their discussions centered in SBA’s Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP) where USPAACC established 2 CNPP Spokes in Chinatown and the Tenderloin District to bring access to capital and financial relief as well as technical assistance to help distressed small businesses survive and pivot to new heights. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that invests $42.25 billions in broadband buildout in underserved and unserved communities in San Francisco and Oakland Chinatown were also a focus of the meeting.
