Spokes collaborative training with the SBA Houston District office

On June 6, 2022, Kore­an Asso­ci­a­tion Fort Worth col­lab­o­rat­ed with The Law Office of Wony­oung Kim, Uni­ver­sal Pro­cess­ing, Hous­ton Kore­an Cham­ber of Com­merce, and the SBA Hous­ton Dis­trict office.

In this train­ing ses­sion, small busi­ness own­ers from the Hous­ton Kore­an Cham­ber of Com­merce joined to learn how to help their busi­ness­es grow.

Kore­an Asso­ci­a­tion of Fort Worth (KAFW) – explained the Com­mu­ni­ty Nav­i­ga­tor Pilot Pro­gram and shared how this pro­gram can help the Asian Amer­i­can communities.

The SBA Hous­ton Dis­trict office Deputy Dis­trict Direc­tor Mark Win­ches­ter deliv­ered the train­ing ses­sion to Kore­an small busi­ness own­ers by explain­ing the SBA and the dif­fer­ent loan sys­tems of SBA7a and SBA 504.

The Law Office of Wony­oung Kim – Described con­tract laws to be aware of. Will deliv­er one on one per­son­al con­sul­ta­tions to meet­ing par­tic­i­pants at a lat­er date.

Uni­ver­sal Pro­cess­ing – Demon­strat­ed the use of a POS sys­tem and shared how this tool can ben­e­fit businesses.
