USPAACC: Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP) Spokes The Law Office of Wonyoung Kim, Roth & Co, and the Trusted Lawyers provide free one-on-one consultations for legal services in Texas and Georgia, tax and accounting services in Chicago and New Jerse
Washington, D.C. – The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC) today announced the provision of vital services and support from its Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP) “Spokes” that will assist Pan Asian American/AAPI small businesses impacted by the pandemic.
Serving in a national leadership role as a “Hub” for the CNPP, USPAACC continues offering free legal and accounting consultation services to Pan Asian American/AAPI small businesses affected by the pandemic in five critical states: California, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, and Texas. The Law Office of Wonyoung Kim in Dallas, Texas; The Trusted Lawyers in Atlanta, Georgia; and the Roth & Co CPA firm in Chicago, Illinois, and New Jersey will be the starting point of contact for initial inquiries.
The CNPP offers funding to nonprofits, state and local governments, universities, and tribal entities to partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) at the center of a Hub-and-Spoke network. These Hubs then support Spoke organizations – trusted, culturally knowledgeable local groups and individuals – who will connect to specific sectors of the entrepreneurial community to provide assistance during economic recovery, including financial assistance and access to capital, contracting and procurement, marketing, operations, business development, exporting, and industry-specific training and business advisory.
“USPAACC is honored to have a national leadership role in advancing the CNPP and connecting Pan Asian American/AAPI small businesses adversely impacted by the pandemic with vital resources to recover and ultimately return to growth and prosperity. We will continue our work to ensure the CNPP realizes its vital mission of building a stronger economy,” USPAACC National President and CEO Susan Au Allen said.
Through the CNPP, the SBA engages with states, local governments, resource partners, and other organizations in targeted outreach for small businesses in underserved communities. In October 2021, the SBA named USPAACC a Tier‑1 National Level Grant Awardee for the CNPP with funding of up to $5 million. USPAACC helps administer the program as a national Hub for 14 regional Spokes, and the Law Office of Wonyoung Kim, The Trusted Lawyers, and Roth & Co are among them.
