Business Opportunities in 2023 Workshop

On 04/01/2023, William Stephanie Foun­da­tion, Barstow Entre­pre­neur Resource Cen­ter, and Cal­i­for­nia State Trea­sur­er Fiona Ma con­duct­ed a train­ing work­shop to pro­mote var­i­ous new incen­tive pro­grams which the SBA and the U.S. State and Fed­er­al Gov­ern­ment offer. 27 peo­ple attended!

The team of the William Stephanie Foun­da­tion was invit­ed by the Barstow Entre­pre­neur Resource Cen­ter and Dr Paul Court­ney, May­or of Barstow, to host a busi­ness work­shop in Barstow. Dur­ing this two-hour work­shop, the team of the William Stephanie Foun­da­tion pro­vid­ed one-on-one free coun­selling and free resources to local busi­ness own­ers of the City of Barstow.

Through this event, the local busi­ness own­ers learnt about the lat­est Cal­i­for­nia State Pro­grams, New Loans and Grants for Busi­ness­es, and IRS Employ­ee Reten­tion Tax Cred­it Pro­gram. This work­shop con­clud­ed in suc­cess with the efforts of our guest speak­ers, Hon. Cal­i­for­nia State Trea­sur­er Fiona Ma and Dr Paul Court­ney, May­or of Barstow.
