SBA's Federal Certification Programs

08/16/2023, ABAOCheld their month­ly CNPP Break­fast Train­ing series with this mon­th’s top­ic being ​“SBA’s Fed­er­al Cer­ti­fi­ca­tion Pro­grams” pre­sent­ed by Alex Salas from the SBA, totalling 2 hours of train­ing giv­en to 20 attendees. 

Alex was a great speak­er to have at our train­ing. He had so much infor­ma­tion to share with our atten­dees that they request­ed him back as a speak­er! The SBA pro­vid­ed a lot of ben­e­fi­cial edu­ca­tion for small busi­ness own­ers dur­ing our 2‑hour train­ing session.

Our strat­e­gy behind this ses­sion was to edu­cate our small busi­ness own­ers on the steps for certification.

By now, many have learned the impor­tance of cer­ti­fi­ca­tion and are now inter­est­ed in how they can get cer­ti­fied and how much it will cost them. The ques­tions were flow­ing in and it per­fect­ly seg­wayed into a great con­ver­sa­tion dur­ing our net­work­ing hour.

Our atten­dees got a per­son­al invi­ta­tion from Alex to uti­lize his net­work. He promised every­one there that if he got an email from them, he would per­son­al­ly make sure that they were direct­ed to the right peo­ple with a prop­er intro­duc­tion. We hope that this relationship/​connection will help these busi­ness own­ers get the answers they need to move forward.
